Synopsis

Xiu Wen (26) is a passionate music composer struggling financially but dedicated to her craft. She forms a group with her boyfriend, Jun Peng, and best friend, Ai Lin, performing and selling songs. Her younger sister, Xiu Min (16), is autistic. Growing up with an abusive father and a special-needs sister, Xiu Wen received little care and ran away from home at 16, losing contact for 10 years. Her ailing mother tracks her down through a news article and brings Xiu Min to see her. During an encounter with a harasser, the mother collapses. On her deathbed, she apologizes to Xiu Wen and entrusts Xiu Min to her care.
