Love. Betrayal. All in one!   IM NOT GANGSTER follows Ah Loong, an ordinary young man working at a convenience store. In life, no one notices him. He is constantly ignored and looked down on, as if he were invisible. One night, he accidentally saves the life of Hao Lian, the boss of the gang "Yi Qi". Before Hao Lian dies, he passes Ah Loong the key items and codes that make him the next leader. Just like that, Ah Loong, a complete nobody, suddenly becomes the head of a crime syndicate.   Having been oppressed and overlooked all his life, Ah Loong seizes this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to change his fate. With his simple, common-sense view of life, which is totally different from the gang's usual way of doing things, he starts managing the gang's business. Unexpectedly, his unconventional methods work, and the gang flourishes in a short time. People around him gradually start to respect his ability, and for the first time, Ah Loong tastes real admiration. He begins to enjoy the intoxicating thrill of power. To protect the position he finally earned, he becomes increasingly ruthless. However, internal power struggles, police suspicion, and sabotage from rival gangs soon drag Ah Loong deeper into danger. He begins to realise that the "accidental" rescue that changed his life may not have been a coincidence at all. Through Ah Loong's shifting identity and growing moral conflict, the movie explores what happens when a so-called "loser" takes on a life that was never meant for him. Has he taken control of the game, or has he unknowingly become a piece in a much larger one? As lies and misunderstandings close in, Ah Loong must face a final choice: continue living off this stolen identity, or risk everything to fight back.
